The Corporate
and Commercial team at Taylors has
advised Lancashire e-commerce
specialist, One Iota Limited in its
sale to Coventry-based software and
IT services group, Sanderson.
The Rossendale-based business,
founded by Damian Hanson and David
Hague, specialises in cloud-based,
multi-channel services for mobile,
tablet and in-store devices. Its
clients include Footasylum,
Republic, Mamas & Papas, Universal,
Jaeger and SuperDry.
Damian Hanson commented, "We had
a strong relationship with Taylors
from the outset of founding One iota
as it was important for us to have
experienced and quality advisors
around us from day one. We knew they
had the right approach to supporting
us and they oversaw the successful
transaction under great pressure and
in a short time-scale."
Elaine Hurn, Managing Partner
and Head of Corporate & Commercial
at Taylors, said, “One iota has been
a valued client of Taylors for a
number of years; we worked together
on the setting up of the business
back in 2010 and we are obviously
delighted that the team’s continued
efforts and dedication to building a
profitable business has resulted in
this corporate sale”.
“Taylors’ experience and
particular specialism in working
closely with clients trading in the
IT and software sectors has proven
invaluable in our relationship with
One iota. The Taylors team
understands the sector and the
particular issues and challenges
that companies trading in it face –
and not just the legal issues, but
the strategic and operational issues
too”. |
