Elaine Hurn Managing PartnerRole
As Managing Partner Elaine is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm. A formidable negotiator and very pragmatic in her approach she combines a unique blend of commercial, legal and HR skills.
Elaine works closely with Taylors key corporate clients on a wide range of their commercial affairs from large-scale business transactions, negotiation of complex trading agreements to general counsel advice on every day employment strategies, policies and issues.
Elaine works with specific industry sectors to assist clients develop their own businesses.
Experience
A graduate from Birmingham University, Elaine was an equity partner at DWF before founding Taylors in 1991 with Tony Catterall . Previously, she was an in-house employment lawyer at Cadbury Schweppes. Profile
Elaine, who hails from Blackburn, is unusually an ardent supporter of both the Arts and Blackburn Rovers. She regularly attends the London Theatre and live music events. Elaine lives in the Ribble Valley in a home she helped design with her partner .Together with her in depth knowledge of the Home Furnishings Industry sector she is very interested in interior design and furnishings and in collecting artwork by local artists.
