As a market-leading textile and wallcovering product designer, we found we were having increasing problems with our innovative designs being copied. Through Taylors, we embarked on a policy of "zero tolerance" which led to our initiating a number of copyright infringement claims, culminating in a major action which went all the way to the House of Lords. That action was wholly successful, in that not only did we win the claim and establish – for the benefit of the industry as a whole – new parameters for infringement tests, we also laid down a marker against less scrupulous competitors Chris Halsey Product Development Director, Designers Guild
I would like to thank you greatly for your excellent and persistent counsel throughout. There is no way we would have achieved a positive outcome without your guidance. This expertise and support will now have a very welcome financial effect.
