Blackburn law firm Taylors scooped the top prize at the recent North West Business Insider Magazine, Dealmaker Awards after seeing off competition from leading firms across the region.

The black tie event, brought true glamour to Ewood Park – turning Blackburn into the BAFTA’s with all the glitz and glamour you’d expect from a West End premier. The event celebrates the outstanding achievements of the professional communities across the region and Taylors were crowned Corporate Law Firm of the Year 2006.

Speaking of the award Managing Partner Elaine Hurn said “we are delighted to have won this award – and it is even more special that it was voted for by our peers. As the only wholly-corporate law firm in the area, it is clear that our hands-on, efficient and direct approach to providing specialist support to businesses is valued – and not just by our clients but also by key players in the business community”.

To be recognised as the leading commercial law firm in the region is a great achievement in itself but for a Blackburn firm it means even more. To win such a prestigious award vindicates Taylors belief that a corporate law firm can survive and thrive outside of the city.
